A beautiful evening at PGE Narodowy! Poland defeats Germany and honours Kuba
The Poland national football team beat the Germany team 1:0 in a friendly at the PGE Narodowy. Jakub Kiwior scored a header for Fernando Santos' team in the 31st minute, taking advantage of Sebastian Szymański's cross. Wojciech Szczęsny was incredible in the goal. Jakub Błaszczykowski, who played for the last time in the national team, was another hero of the evening.
Polish national football team call-ups ahead of matches against Germany and Moldova
Head coach Fernando Santos has announced the names of the players called up to the Poland national football team for the friendly against Germany (16 June at the PGE Narodowy) and the UEFA EURO 2024 qualifier against Moldova (20 June in Chișinău ). Tuesday's conference took place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Warsaw.

The Polish national team will play a friendly against Germany on 16 June 2023. The meeting will be held at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw. “We are very pleased that such a highly successful rival has accepted our invitation. "The most important thing today was to win. After a defeat, a win is extremely important for the team to consolidate. We had a week of work, some training sessions. We are aware of what we still need to improve. We will build everything step by step in which the victories will help", said the Poland national team manager Fernando Santos after the 1:0 win against Albania.

Poland's national team began their battle for qualification to next year's European Football Championship with a defeat against the Czech Republic. The Poles were losing 0:2 to the Czech Republic after just three minutes and failed to make up the score. They eventually suffered a 1:3 defeat, with Damian Szymanski scoring the only goal for our team. The Poles will play their next match on 27 March against Albania at the PGE Narodowy.
