Head coach: Michał Probierz
Michał Probierz was born on 24 September 1972 in Bytom. As a footballer, he played for ŁKS Łagiewniki, Rozbark Bytom, Gwark Zabrze, Ruch Chorzów, Bayer 05 Uerdingen, KFC Uerdingen 1905, SG Wattenscheid 09, Górnik Zabrze, Pogoń Szczecin and Widzew Łódź. He played 260 games in the Polish Ekstraklasa, scoring nine goals. He played for the Polish national team at lower age levels.
He started his coaching career as a youth football coach at SG Wattenscheid 09 and Górnik Zabrze. As head coach, he managed Polonia Bytom, Widzew Łódź, Jagiellonia Białystok, ŁKS Łódź, Aris Saloniki, Wisła Kraków, GKS Bełchatów, Lechia Gdańsk and Cracovia. With Jagiellonia he won the Polish Cup and Super Cup (2010) and finished second in the league (2017). As Cracovia coach, he won the Polish Cup and Super Cup (2020). As a coach, he has managed teams in the Ekstraklasa in 467 games.
On 4 July 2022, he became the head coach of the Polish national under-21 team. He managed the youth team in 10 matches (5 wins, 3 draws, 2 defeats). In September, he made a great start to the U-21 European Championship qualifiers. The Polish national under-21 team won 3:0 against Kosovo in Płock and 1:0 against Estonia in Tallinn and are placed first in their group.
On 20 September 2023, Michał Probierz became the new head coach of the Polish national team.
