The winning debut of the selector. Poles triumph in the Faroe Islands
Poland's national football team won its third victory in the qualification for the final tournament of next year's European Championships. Led for the first time by Michał Probierz, the team beat the Faroe Islands 2-0 in Thorshavn, with Sebastian Szymański and Adam Buksa scoring the goals. The Poles take on Moldova at home in their next qualifier on Sunday.
