Poland to Play Against Germany at PGE Narodowy
The Polish national team will play a friendly against Germany on 16 June 2023. The meeting will be held at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw. “We are very pleased that such a highly successful rival has accepted our invitation. I am convinced that both teams will give a great show and provide fans with plenty of emotions. Come and enjoy the match at PGE Narodowy!” said Cezary Kulesza, President of the Polish Football Association.
The Polish national team last faced Germany at PGE Narodowy on 11 October 2014. This date marked a special moment in the history of our football, as the Poles scored their first victory against this rival. In a EURO 2016 qualifier, they beat the Germans 2:0 after goals from Arkadiusz Milik and Sebastian Mila. The Poles also faced the same opponent in the final tournament of the European Championships in France. Then - in Saint-Denis – there was a 0-0 draw.
