Victory against San Marino. “Lewy's” brace and Adam Buksa's hat-trick
In another World Cup qualifier match, the Poland national team has defeated San Marino 7-1. The White and Reds scored four times in the first half, with Robert Lewandowski scoring the opening goal, then Karol Świderski putting the ball in the net, followed by "Lewy" scoring another goal and finally Karol Linetty racking up a point just before half-time. Shortly after the match was resumed for the second half, the home team scored a consolation goal, while Adam Buksa pulled off a hat-trick. After five World Cup qualifier matches, Poland holds the second place in Group I. The next match for the team led by Paulo Sousa will be against England at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw.
