We launch the project "Your football, your voice" ("Twoja piłka, Twój głos)
The Polish Football Association is launching a new development strategy for Polish football for the years 2026-2030. A key element of this process is an extensive research project that will gather the necessary data and opinions from the football community and its environment. The information gathered will form the foundation for the development of strategic goals and directions for the following years.
Project objective
The main objective of the research is to obtain comprehensive knowledge of the current state of Polish football and future trends in its development. We want to analyse both social and sporting attitudes and anticipated technological changes that may influence the directions of strategic activities of the Polish Football Association. "The research project will focus on several key aspects that will allow an in-depth analysis of the state and prospects for the development of Polish football. It will include both quantitative and qualitative research, as well as extensive stakeholder consultations, thus enabling different points of view to be taken into account and creating a strategy based on a solid foundation," says Łukasz Wachowski, Secretary General of the PZPN.
Scope of activity
"As part of the quantitative research, the Polish Football Association will send out a series of questionnaires to the football community and environment. The groups whose point of view is important to us include the direct participants in our sport: club representatives, players, parents of children and young people, coaches and referees. However, we want to reach beyond our inner circle and hear the opinions of parents of children who do not currently train at clubs, as well as people who play football as amateurs, outside of official competitions, and hear the views of fans and teachers. All this is to be able to develop football and its reach," continues Wachowski.
In addition to surveys, the project includes direct meetings with representatives of Polish football stakeholders. All this aims to involve as many people as possible who care about the Polish football and to get everyone to contribute to creating and implementing the strategy.
In addition, we want to try to predict the trends that will shape football and its environment in the years to come. When thinking about the challenges of the future, we will immediately try to find answers and actions that will allow football to continue to be the leading sport in Poland, and in cooperation with the entire sports community, we will ensure the development of the entire sports sector.
Cooperation with an external partner
In order to ensure the highest level of project execution, the PZPN has engaged an external partner, Silfra Consulting, to support the association's team in conducting research and analysing the results. We want the project to be based on reliable, verifiable sources of knowledge and the experience of experts from both inside and outside the world of football.
Continuation and development
The new strategy will be a continuation of the activities carried out under the "Polish Football Association Strategy for 2020-2025". Analysing the successes and challenges of the previous period, we want to draw conclusions and adapt future goals to the current realities and expectations of the football community. The aim is to create a strategy that not only responds to current needs, but also takes into account future challenges and opportunities for the development of Polish football.
